Hello Beautiful

Summer's hottest nail colors meet the season's sexiest sandals, wedges and pumps. And no self-respecting New York Beauty would walk the city streets without a pedicure to boot.

Shoe Shine

Pair Stuart Weitzman's chic white peep toe pumps ($208 at Zappos.com) with Essie's deep and daring licorice, a rich noir.

Then head to Escape Spa in the Midtown where summer-long manis/pedi savings are on the menu. Escape offers manicure-pedicure specials on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, $25 from $45.

Plus, save 20% off any service with the printable Savings Invitation.

Hollywould

We love Hollywould too and their striped Regina slide in crisp shades of pink, orange, and yellow embodies carefree summer style ($208 at ilovehollywould.com). We'd wear these slides with perfectly polished Coral toes from Rescue Beauty Lounge.

And we all know applying brightly colored polish is a do-it-yourselfer's nightmare. Instead of streaking through the city streets, get your pedicure perfect at Capelli D'Oro Salon Spa on the Upper East Side.

Best of all, book a Brazilian wax, eye brow wax, and lip wax at Capelli for just $59 with the printable Savings Invitation.

Steven

Steven's expansive metallic wedge will take you from day to night with ease. Pair these babies with a shimmering pedicure, we like Believe from the Lippmann Collection ($15). And yes, Cher did help create this mystical shade of polish.

We believe you deserve nothing but the best, so pamper those tired toes at Pashah Salon in Midtown.

Plus, save 25% off all first time services with our printable Savings Invitation.

Christian Louboutin

These Red Hot Christian Louboutin pumps (on sale for $431) pair perfectly with OPI's new Australia collection, specifically the smokin' Red Hot Ayers Rock.

Get polished and pampered at Yann Varin Salon on the Upper East side and save 20% off any sevice with our printable Savings Invitation.

Tucked quietly away in a chic basement space on Chrystie Street is Home Sweet Home, Manhattan's newest "secret" bar.

With no sign - or even windows - to tip of potential imbibers, your only hope of stumbling upon this fantastic haunt is if someone is kind enough to let you in on the secret. Lucky for you, we are.

Just blocks away from some of Manhattan's best music clubs, Home Sweet Home's kitschy Americana décor, local band-member regulars and utterly gorgeous staff make it the ultimate under-the-radar nightspot. The sprawling 35-foot curved mahogany bar is welcoming and ensures you won't be stuck five- deep waiting to order a glass of pinot noir or a rare tequila.

Every shabby couch, vintage lamp and antique crystal chandelier was hand selected by owners Kristin Vincent and Nadia Koch from local flea markets and Midwestern garage sales to create a comfortable living room-like ambiance. Even the multitude of taxidermy animals staring at you from behind the bar doesn't thwart the effort. In fact, it's a refreshing break from the Manhattan norm of concrete, cold steel and modern design. The rear area boasts a spacious dance floor for shaking your groove thing should you find yourself inspired by the tunes being spun by frequent guest DJs.

Sure, this hidden gem is shrouded in secrecy, but don't assume that equates to a better-than-thou atmosphere. On the contrary, everything about Home Sweet Home is warm and friendly, and in this town, that's definitely something to write home about.

Home Sweet Home is located at 131 Chrystie Street. Phone: 212.226.5708.
